How do you become a trainee in a retail management scheme?
I’m 23, don’t have any degree, but good high school grades. I’m wondering how I could go about getting a job with a Retail company as a trainee retail manager. I have previous retail experience, but not in a management role.
Which would be the best company to apply to, and how would I apply?
I’ve seen these schemes advertised in papers like Metro, but I would imagine that most companies would advertise them on their websites also.
I know that Lidl and Morrison’s both have really good trainee schemes, although typically they are looking to hire graduates. I would start with their websites, and if there is no information on there, then call their head offices and ask to speak to someone in HR or recruitment.
In another week or less on January 11, 2010 the release of a great new product for all of us internet marketers looking to break out into financial success and that product is Niche Blueprint. This is the second time for this product but it is coming with many updated items and also some great new tools. Now if you are just starting out in the internet marketing arena, I suggest taking a few baby steps and that means starting out with the Mining Money Online program that is taylored just for newbies in the affiliate marketing business and it comes at a price that every one can afford of $77
Then, in terms of other companies to try, think about what companies are likely to have such schemes: it will primarily be large chains, so all the national supermarkets, and also department stores and high-street fashion stores. Again, just browse their websites for information.

Why go retail when you can go direct.
There are plenty of direct sales companies who will gladly train you for management regardless of your exprience.
Only problem is that you have to work really hard and be accountable.
Most if not all pay commission so you need to have a lot of self-confidence, and take that initial risk.
Hope this helps.

"Retail management trainee" means "go-fer". Get a job in retail and make sure you pay attention to detail and make your customers happy. If you’re working for a good company, and have a good supervisor, you’ll be on your way to management. The few good people get noticed. (And, sadly, there are only a few really good people in any field.)
