Furniture indents on the carpet, best way to get rid of them?

Thanks!

Vacuum to pull the fibers back upright.
Use the edge of a kitchen spoon to rub the fibers back and forth – switching directions as you go.
Mist, Rub, Vacuum, Mist, Vacuum, Rub — any order.

use a coarse comb on the fibers, but if the backing has dented, maybe a steamer, or time will be the only answer
